Stray Dog Cafe hail from Wigan in the Northwest of England. Described by Joe of Part Chimp and Kling Klang as 'a proper bunch of northern wierdos', Stray Dog Cafe's unique approach to noise making (aka 'Minimal Dirt Rock') has had live audiences entertained and bewildered in equal measure.

Likened to bands as diverse as McCluskey, Shellac, The Fall, Country Teasers and Trumans Water, the Minimal Dirt Rock Manifesto continues to develop and expand:

The SDC debut album has been recorded, mixed and generally sorted out. We're currently finalising artwork plans but the title was sorted out some time ago. Check it out on the interweb and you may just learn something. Release date is still to be confirmed but should be sometime after the 12th March. We have some promo copies for anyone wanting to review us, get in touch and we'll wing you a copy snail mail...
